Phillip D. Waddell – Staff Attorney

Phillip D. Waddell has 37 years experience in the general practice of law and management, which includes:

  • loan closings and title work
  • management and regulatory reporting
  • loan administration
  • contract negotiation
  • complex mortgage loan, consulting and asset sale transactions
  • mediation, negotiation and settlement of claims
  • consumer and commercial lending
  • data systems analysis
  • asset/liability management
  • creation, delivery and sales of financial management consulting services
  • start-up, incorporation and management of closing, delivery and legal function for bulk sale secondary mortgage market operation
  • securitization of mortgage loans.

His experience also includes the drafting and negotiation of more than 300 contracts for the purchase and sale of $3 billion in mortgage loan assets and servicing; the sale of a large mortgage banking operation and two mortgage investment bank sales; the acquisition of approvals from FHLMC/FNMA/HUD and others, as well as ongoing compliance in the critical areas of company operations.

Phil received his bachelor’s degree from Centre College of Kentucky and a Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. He is licensed in Kentucky and Tennessee.

James Seth Waddell – Staff Attorney

J. Seth Waddell is a graduate of the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at The University of Memphis. After completing his undergraduate work at King College in Bristol, Tenn., he co-owned and managed The Wire Company, the only independently owned ISP in the region. After several years, the partners successfully negotiated and sold the business assets to a larger competitor. His employment at Covenant Escrow Services while attending law school enabled him to gain experience in all aspects of real estate transactions, contract negotiation and drafting as well as probate administration.

He is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Mississippi.

Kevin A. Snider, J.D., C.F.E.- Of Counsel Attorney

Kevin Snider is the founding attorney of Snider & Horner, PLLC and a licensed attorney in the state of Tennessee, a certified fraud examiner and a civil trial specialist board certified by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He concentrates on consumer law and consumer protection matters, but is also active in many other areas of both civil and criminal litigation. Kevin has completed more than 1,000 trials and hearings in local, state and federal courts.

Gail W. Horner – Of Counsel Attorney

Gail Williams Horner is a licensed attorney in Tennessee. She is a Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator. She concentrates her practice in adoption, family and juvenile law, as well as general civil mediation, but also has substantial experience in other areas including probate and consumer matters. Gail is an experienced litigator in local, state and federal courts, as well as administrative hearings and state appellate matters.

Christina von Cannon Burdette, J.D., C.P.A. - Of Counsel Attorney

Christina von Cannon Burdette is a licensed attorney and certified public accountant in Tennessee. She concentrates her practice on probate, estate planning, taxation and corporate law, but she is also active in family matters and litigation support.

She is admitted to practice before all of the courts in the State of Tennessee.
